Mental Health Professionals
Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Mental Health Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide therapeutic services to children, teens, adults and families, focusing on mental health challenges and promoting overall well-being. This role requires a strong understanding of various therapeutic techniques and the ability to create a supportive environment for clients. The Mental Health Therapist will work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care. Prior experience working with children and teens is highly recommended. Trauma and Grief experience are preferred.

Responsibilities

Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine mental health needs and develop individualized treatment plans.

Provide evidence-based therapy, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)and behavioral therapy techniques, tailored to each client's unique situation.

Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations and ensure confidentiality of patient information.

Engage in child family counseling, supporting both children and their families through therapeutic interventions.

Implement behavior management strategies to assist clients in developing coping mechanisms and improving their emotional regulation.

Collect data on client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.

Collaborate with social workers and other professionals to coordinate care and resources for clients.

Stay informed about the latest developments in mental health practices, including updates related to ICD-10 coding.

Qualifications

Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field is required.

Valid licensure as a Mental Health Therapist.

Experience in medical documentation and patient assessment is essential.

Familiarity with child family counseling practices is highly desirable.

Knowledge of behavioral therapy techniques and behavior management strategies is a plus.

Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations and commitment to maintaining client confidentiality.

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build rapport with clients effectively.
