CHRISTIE RUSH, LISW
Christie believes that when life and loss become overwhelming, taking steps to communicate feelings and having someone to listen is essential. She uses multiple treatment modalities depending on the individual to assist in validating feelings, acknowledging their loss, and guiding the journey toward healing. Christie believes loss not only happens from the death of a loved one, but also could be from the loss of a job, relationships, pets, relocation, and anything else a person feels strongly about.

Christie earned her master’s degree in social sciences administration from Case Western Reserve University. During her undergraduate and graduate degrees, she studied death and dying, gerontology, different types of grief and loss, and has worked in hospice as a social worker. Christie gladly works with all age groups for most all counseling needs.
