PHYLLIS VAIR, LPCC-S, FT
Phyllis works with adolescents and adults, walking with them through their grief and life journey. Using clinically tested and evidence-based interventions she has worked with many, both individually and in specialized groups for grief.
As a licensed professional clinical mental health counselor, Phyllis focuses on grief and trauma while also empowering individuals to overcome obstacles with anxiety, trauma and depression. Phyllis is an EMDR-trained therapist and a Fellow in Thanatology ( the study of death, dying and bereavement).
Phyllis earned her degree from Kent State University. She is a professional member of the American Counseling Association (ACA), Ohio Counseling Association (OCA) and Association for Death Education and Counseling (ADEC).
